From the recording Little Book
VH: Sun Sun is a love song to the sun. I wrote the lyrics to a guitar and melody sketch Rob Roy created that sounded like a series of longing questions. This made me think about questions I have about the source of existence, which led me to think of the sun and light. I think of love as an expression of appreciation, so I thought there should be a love song to the sun.

Lyrics
Sunshine, so in love, so in love with you
So high, up above, so sun so, did you know?
And I suppose you’ve got
somewhere you’ve got to go
I’m so, so in love and I suppose that in
my heart, you have something to tell about it
tell me, what’s to come I want to know
how you light up my eyes and then everything goes away
Sun sun, what’s to come, how do you feel about it?
Can’t you stay by me and tell me about it?
You’re so sad about it
I can tell you've been below the horizon for some time
So many miles away, so many miles
My heart has never doubted what to do about love
Love, that has found me. Sun sun don’t go
Don’t go, my heart longs to see you
as my, my days go on and on
Sun sun, come around
so long are nights without you come around
so long are nights without you, without you
Sunshine, so in love so in love with you
So high, up above so sun so, did you know?
And I suppose you’ve got
somewhere you’ve got to go
