From the recording Little Book
We imagine how wonderful it would be to have one or two crows greet us in the morning from their forest perch. In pursuit of this dream, we ordered a large box of peanuts in the shell and a crow call. We're using the crow call and leaving a nut or two out each morning to see if we can make any crow friends.
Update Sept 2026: No luck so far. Open to suggestions.

Lyrics
Come around in the morning time, the early part of day
Stick around all day and then at night they go away
Which shiny little objects will attract their UV view,
purple, green and blue,
just a crow or two
Come around in the morning time, the early part of day
Stick around all day and then at night they go away
We’d like to get to know you, please come into our view,
iridescent hue, crows... four, maybe two
Come around in the morning time, the early part of day
Stick around all day and then at night they go away
Murder in the winter on a high pine limb
Ever-clever them, sculpt, taper, and trim
Purple, green and blue…
just a crow or two
